GoToWebinar: Setup

To access the event, please click on the link provided to you in your registration confirmation email. The same link is used to join any of the sessions on May 3-6. If you have not registered, please complete the registration form by clicking here. If you have difficulty registering, please call 414-270-3600 or email for assistance.

The conference will be held using GoToWebinar. This works on both mobile and desktop devices. If you have not used GoToWebinar before, it is recommended that you set up app before the conference. To do this:

1.      For desktop devices, you can download the app by clicking here: This will prompt you to download the software application and launch the waiting room. In the waiting room, you will be able to test your sound settings.

2.      For mobile devices, please visit your device’s app store and search for “GoToWebinar.”

3.      If you have difficulty joining on either your desktop or mobile device, please call 414-270-3600 for additional assistance.

To make your experience with the Small Business Academy a great one, here are some helpful tips:

1.      Make sure your internet connection is good (connect to router with an ethernet cable or turn off video or use phone for audio if bandwidth is needed).

2.      Test your computer’s speakers or headphones prior to the conference

3.      Due to the conference side, all participants will be muted. Only the Academy’s presenters will be able to speak during the sessions

4.      Close all other programs and turn off phone notifications

5.      Download the agenda ahead of time

6.      Ask questions using the Questions module in GoToWebinar. The host will monitor questions and save them for the Q&A time, if applicable
