WEFTEC 2015

Companies that attend the Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) can expect to come away with new knowledge of innovative water technology solutions. For companies that have signed on as exhibitors at WEFTEC, the three days that the trade show floor is open will be a rush to make the most of education and networking opportunities. WEFTEC is the world’s largest annual water quality exhibition, with nearly 1,000 exhibitors and more than 22,000 attendees expected. Global Water Port amplifies global collaboration through a super-charged, web-based, research and data dashboard. A new tool of The Water Council in 2015, the Port makes available the latest social collaboration tools and access to the most relevant content including patent, academic and industry databases to help the water ecosystem learn, connect and execute the most pressing water innovation needs. Subscriptions to Port are included in Water Council Membership.

A NATIONAL NETWORK DESIGNED TO LINK SMALL AND MEDIUM WATER TECHNOLOGY BUSINESSES TO CRITICAL RESOURCES.

Through a U.S. Small Business Administration Regional Innovation Cluster award, the Small Business Channel promotes the growth and development of small businesses operating in the water technology sector – first in the Midwest and then across the United States. Links to critical resources such as capital, networks, trained workers, supply chains, and technical assistance are readily available through the Channel.

The Pilot Deployment Program, a new initiative by The Water Council, will strengthen relationships between new product development and Water Council members with demonstration sites dedicated to furthering water quality in a “One Water” world. Stonehouse Water Technologies, the first recipient of Pilot Deployment Program funding, will also launch their new prototype.
